Therapy
Individual and Couples Therapy
I see men, women and teens (16 years and older) for individual psychotherapy. I have experience working with individuals from many different ethnicities, as well as those in the LGBTQ community.

I also work with couples and/or family members to help navigate and resolve issues regarding crisis management, conflict resolution, communication, sex, polyamory, etc.
Sessions are 50 minutes in length and ideally take place on a weekly basis. The length of treatment varies depending on why you might come to therapy. While one person may come to deal with a crisis or look at a specific issue, someone else may want to understand where their anxiety is coming from. Whatever the reason, the goal is to help you explore yourself more deeply in order to affect change in your life, and this type of change often takes time.
What is Psychodynamic Therapy?
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a form of talk therapy or "focused conversation" that encourages the exploration of the client's unconscious thoughts and feelings, and how they influence his/her behaviour and relationships with others. Through self-awareness, as well as the interpersonal relationship between client and therapist, the client becomes more clear about the dynamics that exist in his/her life, and can begin to understand and eventually change what has been causing him/her difficulty.
Phone and Online Sessions
I am now exclusively working virtually using Zoom or Skype, as well as over the phone.
Specialities and Techniques
In my practice, I specialize in all issues related to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, or just basic self-awareness. I utilize psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and relational techniques, as well as dream analysis.
Confidentiality
All contact between therapist and client is confidential. No information of an identifying nature regarding the client will be released to anyone in spoken or written form without the client's written consent, except as mandated by law.
